Using our powers for good

W.r.t the earthquake relief efforts, Anna at Sepia Mutiny feels that we have no excuse, when those who have so little are giving so much.

I keep thinking about the brown blogosphere’s powerful, united response to IIPM. And then I think about the larger world of blogging and how they used the power of their words for good, after Katrina. And I wonder if we should use our power for good, too. What do you think?

As I said over at SM, now is the time- DesiPundit, your incredible work in ousting IIPM has been felt across the world. Let’s take the next step and move into helping our fellow brethren in India and Pakistan.. (Afghanistan too? I’m unsure)

I should have realized DesiPundit wasn’t just one person– I have just discovered this site recently. One wonders why I never tried typing in desipundit.com to see what happens.
