Sunshine recently started teaching in a school – and seems to be discovering new aspects to life and children. She talks of a child who is only eight and whose mother is in the last stage of blood cancer.
All this, as well as her mom’s absence, was attributed to her mom’s callousness. As the last resort, Upasana was asked not to attend classes but to simply stand in the corridor as a punishment till her mom came to meet the concerned teachers. She bore her punishment for 2 days. Her mom still did not come.
