Scott at The Corridor of Uncertainty writes about and links to a video clip of Inzamam’s controversial dismissal in the first India-Pakistan ODI.
What do you all think? Was India’s appeal for the wicket against the spirit of the game, as Inzamam claims?

The spirit of the game certainly thinks not.

Lets say that Pakistan had one run to Win and Inzy had obstructed the ball 1/2 way thru a run . Would it be in the spirit of the game to allow him to claim the run and lose the match or would be correct to appeal ?
Why is everyone calling it a controversial dismissal? It is very much within the laws of the game. It is just that some folks are making it a controversy.

Wasn’t against the spirit of the game. Too much has been made out of nothing.
