Once again she proves that she remains a brilliant political strategist (or is adviced by them) and seizes initiative. Of course, it is a political ploy but she managed to embarass everyone else.

Indeed! I am awed by Ms. Gandhi’s political maneuvering to the extent that I believe she already has left an indelible mark on India’s political landscape. She is, in my opinion, the only rallying pep figure for the left and congress-like forces to counter the plague that is the BJP.

Rajat…BJP is not a plague but opposition that brings balance to the power in a democracy. The ruling party or opposition may have their own shortcomings but they are essential for democracy to succeed.

If the move was brilliant or not ..only time will tell. For now, she does have our attention ……
