I realise that everyone has their own political preferences, but I am amazed to find that this site has not mentioned a single blog which does not lambast Sonia. (and I am not shamelessly blog pimping for once
)
Political sycophancy is hardly new to Indian politics. People immolate themselves when Karunanidhi loses an election, there is a Vajpayee temple and Jayalalitha has been portrayed as everything from the Virgin Mary to the Goddess Durga.
