It’s time someone started opposing Reservation nonsense seriously.

It hurts innocent meritorious students for no fault of theirs, other than being born in one of the so-called higer-castes. It breeds mediocrity in the benefactors with no incentives to study and excel. It never reaches millions of really poor lower-caste people, as the creamy layer in these castes keep usurping the benefits generation after generation.

I don’t think reservation cannot be totally cancelled, for the historical reasons and the chance it provides to millions of poor people (who form 70-80% of Indias population). But it is time, we forced the government to exclude the creamy layer. Those who can afford to pay, must be made to pay irrespective of the caste.

just raising a voice won’t do.we ought to launch a proper website if we are seriously thinking of a revolution.so let’s begin with a site for general categories such as gcwf.org (gcwf=general categories welfare federation).with such a site we will have a proper platform where we could submit aricles and news and be heard nationally and internationally.i am a doctor so won’t be able to make one but i request my engineer friends to make one.let’s end these dirty reservations and hail india.jai hind.

Hi,

I want to appreciate Youth for Equality forum and medical students of Delhi/mumbai for protesting rservations. Tolerating Injustice is a crime and we, the general category students need to come on streets for agitating injustice!!!
But we need more planned agitation now.. and it should not be limitd to only delhi or mumbai…. it should spread all over country and all cities… i wud ask Youth for Equality forum guys to make them reachable to youth in other cities…. people wud surely join them…
Lets fight for the cause!!

Right nOw i have seen the use of force by police on students. Its all over the media right now.
Please read the following… I would also like the moderator here to post the fllowing message so that other people can read it:
As you may have seen, none of the political party is going to support the Anti-quota movement raised by us: the Students of India. why???
we all know that they are doing this for their votebank… NOne of them can afford to speak against the quota … It has already passed through parliament.
the only solution to stop this quota is to file a petition @ supreme court and Ask our Honourable President to Take a desision.
I repeat there will be no support from any Political parties or Any minister ( whatever post he may me.. Remember He is politician )
Organise simultaneous rally fully planned before….
And ask all the links all over the country to join the protest at the same day at same time.
This is the only solution.
Also make a strike effective at all colleges all over the country . MEre 5 colleges strike would not make a difference to the thick skinned ministers. They will try to persuade students to cancel the strike. They will destroy the future of these students…Remember they can do that… We cant do anything if we are not united…..
Please stay united and make a siultaneoous protest pre-planned.
Raise your voice all over the country.
Ask media to cover all the protest.
Collect funds and make a public appeal to all the citezens of the country to join in.
Ask your parents to join this movement. Ask their collouges to join them,. Ask the private organisation for support and ask themn to go on strike. After all if this is going to affect us students.. this will effect the organisations also and inturn the whole country.
I read the article where Our dumb politician Mr. Sharad Yadav . Said that Knowledge Commision is Useless And they DOnt Know Anything….
Yes sir, we all know nothing thats the reason you all Ba***rds are their on the elected seats and Ruling us ….
Again.. I request the moderator to please publish this post separately so that more audience can have thier view on this…
Regards,
Aakash

Hello friends,
I am President Resident Doctors Association, Dr. Rajinder Prasad Govt. Medical College, Tanda, Distt. Kangra, Himachal Pradesh and i on behalf of all my colleagues here extend whole hearted support to the on going agitation against reservations as it is crime to tolerate injustice and it is a God send opportunity for us to fight against the injustice done by our pollitical leaders. These very polliticians which when fall ill run abroad for treatment or call doctors from out side the country but talk of reservations here and kill merit posing a great risk to the lives of common people. The polliticians have made pollitics a family bussiness and thats why there wards donot have to look for seats in educational institutions and jobs in various departments. So they are unmindfull and indifferent to the needs of the youth. These polliticians just keep on making irresponsible policies keeping in eye the vote bank pollitics. It is for all of us to unite and fight against the reservations and take this fight to its natural conclusion. Its a now or never situation as we have already suffered a lot all these years. Lets stand united and donot stop till this policy of reservations is scrapped all together.
Friends, it will be a long drawn battle as no pollitical party will support us in public or parliament. So, lets change to the battle gear and respond to this war cry. Let this fire spread to whole of the country and lets raise our voice so much that these deaf pollitician have to sit up and take notice as the Britishers had to take notice of the voice of the people of India and had to leave our country.
Donot let this flame to die and make it a big fire enough to burn the house of these polliticians.
LONG LIVE THE YOUTH UNITY

Arun,sonia, Manmohan,

Get down !!! submit your resignations. If Japan can succeed, India is not able to, this is becuase of congress who ruled for more than 50 years.

I feel in chennai, no voice is raised, this is because of anti UC government. Chennaiites, come on do something, dont be cowards

i am a resident doctor in mumbai. i and my husband tried to talk to a few colleagues so that we could do something but people here seemed to have buried their conscience. those who have benifited from quota say how can they stand against it? as it has helped them. others feel nothing will change, and sooner or later 50% quota will come into being.i don’t want to just wait and watch. how do i help?please suggest.

hi
u all r d”ng well
a think everyone who thinks himself as a citizen of indipendent india should oppose
the decision of government
but it require a little more effort
only demonstrations can’t give any relief
u people should include any of the given work of opposition

* include those students preparing for pmts, engineering, ias, pcs etc choose exam date 1jun for combined demonstration
*in demonstrations add hindi banners also
*make those people feel, who really deserve reservation, they r not getting advantage of the coming system
*compel the government to make it clear before the country how long this system is going to continue
* fist of all raise moneny under one name, which is the basic for any such movement
add more
make it listen to more n more people

Hi All Medicos,

i do appreciate your steps regarding reservation policy of Congress Govt.

Here i m some points to u which ll helps our cause.

1. In retaliation of Maharastra Police Brutality, stop giving Medical care to the Police, Congress & NCP people right now. Let them go to the reserved doctors.

2. Tell the congress man will not get medical help from a general doctor.

3. Request all the general doctor in all the govt offices (center and state ruled by congress) that stop giving medical help to congress.

4. Let them first believe on reserved doctor, then the common people will believe on them.

5. Collect information regarding the doctors of Sonia Gandhi, Arjun Singh, … (i m very sure that not sinlge man have appointed a reserved doctor as their personal doctor)and tell the nation this very people have no faith on reserved doctor then how come the people ll believe on them.

My dear u have the power, so that poewer, don’t follow gandhian principle, don’t show u r other face when the police slapped u on one face.

I really appreciate the efforts by Medical students in there war on reservation. I am a supporter of quality and efficiency and firmly believe this only will lead to prosporous and strong nation. I am a engineer by profession and fully support equality mantra.
I support the one day strike but think will this be a useful weapon? Finally who suffer are the common men/women/childeren like us. Can Medical professionals stop providing any services towards politicialns and police officers (including emergency services) and tell them the importance of the profession. Its shameful that doctors are beaten in this contry like this. All politcians themselves get the best of health sevices so stop providing them any such services. They are certailny not worth of it.
If there is a need of any official web site, I can help you get the people working in this domain. So do let me know.
I am also thinking about the bad condition of women in this contry. Before govt. brings in job reservations in higher education/private sector, I want to see 50% reservation for women in assembly and also in cabinet. The discussion on this issue is always postponed in the house and its time to take it seriously. Whats your opinion?
