Contemporary Art in contemporary India

But sadly inspite of abundance talent, Indian Contemporary Art never received it’s truly deserved appreciation locally and globally. Locally it was perceived more of a rich man’s hobby and it lacked adequate exposure needed to be recognized on the world stage. However today thanks to special attention and coverage given by the media, contributions made by various individuals other than artists – Contemporary Art is now within the reach of a common man.
