Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna review

This is the worst story I have ever seen..What was Karan Johar doing when he wrote this story… What messgae is he trying to give to the Public… So Karan..What a joke of tradition, love and everything that you can think off…. Karan should be sued for making a film like this.

I was not expecting such a corny movie from Karan Johar! Lousy acting by everyone except Abhishek bachan. I dunno what Karan was thinking when he made the movie. He is actually justfying having extra marital affair. I think he should learn from movies like silsila ( maturely handled).

I guess it can be looked as a maturity in terms of the kinds of love affairs we r used to. A different perspective that Johar takes, which is not completely hypothetical. It may be a little diffcult to chew on for a society like ours where couples are known to sacrifice their personal likings to keep the marriage going, so that society thinks they have been good human beings..

Why are so many people being so harsh on Karan Johar? Karan is simply showing that true love always find a way…. Rani and Shah Rukh go their seperate ways putting thier marraiges first but in life most couples do end up splitting up due to long term differences. Well done for bringing indian cinema into the 20th century at long last! Fantastic film go watch it!!!!

I absolutely loved this movie. I am glad to see finally an Indian movie’s message is not to somehow compromoise into making a relationship work when its obviously falling apart, and to take a spouse back after they have cheated on you, and are still in love with the other person. I pity those who did not get the message of the movie, which is instead of trying to make two lives miserable for the sake of having a “happy marriage”, its better to let both the individuals be who they really are and let them find true love. Its unfortunate they don’t find it to begin with, but alas there is a soulmate out there for each and every one of us, for the couples in this movie it just wasn’t their significant other. People make mistakes. Its better to learn from them and move on instead of ending the movie in a note of “Family is paramount..whether you are miserable, in depression and chronically on the verge of going insane, just make it work dammit!” Top props to Karan Johar for making this movie. I am so glad someone is finally willing to acknowledge the fact that marriages do fall apart, and people do continue to lead normal healthy and happy lives ever after they do so. A must see for everyone.

I liked the role of abhishek bachan…acted well….sah rukh same old role….

story will gonna bring new waves in indian culture ..lets see which way wind blows from now…its very easy to comment on some story after watching it. but very difficult for the one who face it.

Anyone at place of abhishek bachan, will gonna have tough time form now onwards.

Really waste movie,srk really need to change his acting style,i dont know why we compare srk with sanjeev kumar,dilip kumar,amitab.He is really fake actor.abhishek bacchan acted really well.but anyways its 2006 super flop movie,and it should be , because no thing is good in this movie.

I think that this movie was rubbish! such a big hype, for 3 hrs of bullshit! Prety was nothing but a dressed up doll, rani didnt do much but cry, shar rukh was one scene hopping with his left, next the right. Abby bachan was the best one, he acted well. Fanna beats this to bits. Karan Johar, maybe u should consider following movie examples from yash chopra.

The movie could have been more thoughtful as the subject is very delicate and serious one. The message the movie conveys, is quite loud and clear. Quit the relationship if you are not comfortable.

Many unnecssary scenes and characters could have been ripped off, giving more space to emotions of betrayed and frustated perons.

i live in la and people were buying tickets in advance as this was supposed to be a big hit for 2006…big names like mr. amitabh bachan, SRK, abhishek, rani, preity..and obviously karan johar! big expectations too…and how did everything turn out??? 3 hours of seemingly unending story with not much depth in the characters. srk was no different..only plausible factor about him was not the role of a sweet and caring guy but of a sarcastic and low life loser! abhishek was okay taking into consideration the fact that anybody in that role wud have done well…all sympathies to him. Big B whats up with u? u did not have to degrade urself to such an extent. i dont think u need to do such roles to prove ur versatility.They could have shown big b as a playboy but i dont feel there was any need in actually making everything graphical…!!! rani was just crying in the whole movie and it was absolutely confusing. preity was reasonable.
overall, all my expectations went down the drain. 5 thumbs down!

Absolute crap, and people who is justifying the extra marital affair in the above comments seem to be having tough time in their married lives. Tell me guys, who in this world is perfectly happy with the things. Bad things happen and that only makes good things good so there is no justifying that this crap is 20th century film. It doesn’t belong to any century. I feel sorry that even after reading the 90% bad reviews, I spent 10$ for this movie. Guys download from some piracy site and watch if you are curious, dont spend money and time on theatre.

I do agree that this movie handles a “non masala bollywood” concept.Buuuuuuuuut what was Karan trying to convey? Cheat your spouse if you are a “LOOSER” & find another “LOOSER SOULMATE”?????????No where in the movie we come across a genuine situation which compells Shahrukh/Rani to leave their respective partners’and search for love outside their relationships.As long as audience are wise enough to understand that this is a story of loosers, then I am sure no one will be influenced by this story.Is this movie worth $ 10 & 3hrs of your 48 hrs weekend……..NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was real crap,Rubbish,Karan should be prosecuted for trying for making such a lousy movie,It was an unending story showing no faults of Pteety/Abhisheik and SRK/Rani Acting funny for no appropriate reason.Where can one find faults in Preety/abhisheik tell one occation.SRK had no work, No responsibility, only shouting and getting irritated for nothing and wanted his wife to come and watch football then how will house run, Amit Ji is not required to act in such a non status role. to sum up Rubbish……………..

i just love movie it was awsome yes if u not happy with ur partner than why keep on continouing the relation if u have other choice leavethis relation and go ahead yes it is nessecery for u for making ur life otherwise u will suffer a lifetime pain i seriously liked movie and considerit those who r making negative commints in movie plz wake up it is happening in this world may b in your surronding ur neigbour and may b in your family so come into a realistic phase of life the master piece of bollywood rani and shahrukh make a mature couple they look very nice together they are the best karan joher has done a great job better than k3g.
