…to marry a tree and not a man.

I was just reading the news when I came across this article: somebody filed a public interest litigation against Aishwarya Rai because she married a tree. The somebody, a lawyer ‘Shruti I-Have-Way-Too-Much-Time-On-My-Hands Singh’, says that such a ritual violates fundamental human rights, and is derogatory to women. And since we both share the same middle name, I thought, what the heck, I might just make a post out of this.
