Scribbles in the sand

Sunshine contrasts beaches in the U.S. and India.

I was however disappointed with the concept of a beach here. A trip to the Juanita beach (pronounced as Huanita beach) and the Seward beach, and I screamed, much to the embarrassment of my friends- Arre par beach kahaan hai? Yeh to lake hai, badiii si lake (But where is the beach? This seems like a huge lake). Seems that a beach is not always a sea beach here, characterized by the smell of rotting fish, the grumbling of the waves, lighthouses, and the frequent nariyal paani waala.
