Kaveeta Kaul comments on the recently released complilation of Mother Teresa’s letters, which reveal that Mother too had occasional doubts about God’s existence.
“If there be no God – there can be no soul. If there is no soul then Jesus – You also are not true. Heaven, what emptiness.â€?
Mother’s apprehensions only prove that she was human, argues Kaveeta. They should not be used as an excuse to belittle her life’s work.
