India and Pakistan served up an appropriately breathtaking finale to what has been a sensational tournament in Johannesburg, with India defeating their fierce rivals by five runs. It was a sparkling match, lit up by brilliant performances by Gautam Gambhir, Umar Gul, Misbah Ul-Haq and Irfan Pathan. Despite the rivalry, and the burning desire to win on both sides, the match was played in a great spirit, which resulted in an electric atmosphere at the Wanderers.
