Beware the moocher
RS here has a blog with exactly two posts on it. The first one was in July and the second, our featured post today, was in September:
A disturbing trend of moochmania is emerging in the IT industry. I have taken the onus upon myself (that phrase could have gay connotations if you change one letter, go on, try), to educate good people like yourself about this trend. A wave of moochers is approaching, who will relentlessly, tirelessly, assiduously, shamelessly (ok I’ve run out of -sly suffixed adjectives) go after that last cigarette or whatever is precious to you with a servile smile on their faces.
Truly mooching, or delta-ing if you were from REC Trichy, of cigarettes is a dire evil action that has brought many a male-male relationship to a sad and jarring halt. It is only surpassed by the bong guy, who stays next to you in business school, landing up at your door a few moments
(30 seconds or less) after the Dominos guy and asking “Ah! You have ordered Pizza… interesting…”
Please to read on about RS’ excellent rant on anti-mooching here.
P.S. I must confess I got his blog link after he left a comment with much praise on my blog. I hope the larger Indian blogosphere has taken the hint. Wink wink. Nudge nudge. Link link.
