Meetu enjoys Anurag Kashyap’s latest offering, No Smoking.
Coming to the point – the movie was a treat for the senses. The background music, sound design, camerawork, special effects – all worked towards narrating the idea. Nope, I cannot make myself say I saw a story; it was a visual description of an idea – a ‘what if…?’ Such cinema might not be the proverbial “everyone’s cup of teaâ€?. But, the point is, it is now available for those who enjoy a different flavor. Thank you, Mr. Director!

Story is different, but film makes no sense at all.
Its the worst movie I have ever watched in my whole life!
I hate such kind of movie..totally mindless, money waste, time waste movie..
why should people waste their important time behind this kind of movie.
Totally stressful, painfull movie..

The movie is a brilliant attempt at noir cinema. David Lynch’s movies – Clue Velvet and Mulholland Drive are classy and way beyond a common movie makers imagination. I could say the same thing for No Smoking.
Way to go Anurag, keep making such movies – I am all for you and your style of cinema.

When i went to see the movie, i thought it could motivate me to quit smoking. But as soon as i came out of the cinema hall i had 3 cigrattes one after the other. THE MOVIE IS SURELY A MENTAL RAPE. Those who dont smoke will start smoking after seeing this movie. Mr Anurag, please dont make another movie.

Brilliant movie .. style resembles “STAY” starring Ewan mcGregor and Ryan Gossling. Highly entertaining for those who like this kind of genre. Good to see such a film being made in bollywood

oh such a crap!!!will to do something different finally dropped anurag at the point where he can get endless curse.
At the last i thought now finally climax will unfold all suspense. But a big disappointed…he connected will of smoking to soul!!!ah!
At last if at least dreaming John would have been shown, then people could digest.but this ending…God shake…
