Jab We Met review
Amrita feels Jab We Met is a perfect date movie.
Groundbreaking, experimental cinema this is not. If that’s what you’re after, then you might want to give Anurag Kashyap’s No Smoking, the other release this week, a try. But if you in the mood for a well executed rom-com, then this is the movie for you. It’s enjoyable Bollywood fare that doesn’t allow its multiplex roots to lure it away from the fact that this is a Hindi language movie. Annoying posers like Heyy Babyy, with their lamentable trick of using self-consciously delivered English lines to convey major plot points should take a look at this movie.

Role as Aditya in JAB WE MET is a tailor-made role for Shahid Kapoor. He is very natural, charming and elegant. This may be the best of Shahid till now.
Kareena Kapoor’s performance as a happy-go-lucky and annoyingly talkative girl is really good. Kareena(Geet) acting like an innocent girl is not actually suit to her after seeing her in many mature characters, it would have been done better by some fresh talent or young girl like Genelia De souja (as she did in Bommarillu (2006) – Telugu Movie). Still Shahid and Kareena’s combination as love-birds steals the hearts of audience.
Review on the movie JAB WE MET is “Greatest Entertainment and The Best Movie� of the Year 2007 in Hindi language with out any doubt. After waching this movie JAB WE MET, I got the feel of DDLJ, Bommarillu.
My analysis after looking at reviews of South-Indians foretells that It’s going to be a huge hit in South-india as well. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

a well written and well balanced by shahid and kareena…..
fundoo and must watch movie…….
