Powerless in the Dark

Scott describes the harrowing experience in trying to get electricity to his house reconnected while dealing with bureaucratic inefficiency

…why they have waited a week to reconnect the power and left the house dark–forcing my wife into the uncomfortable position of staying in a hot and lifeless house or on the couches of friends and relatives. Why is it that they told my wife that they are under no obligation to supply power to our house even after we pay for the power? This to me smells of rank corruption.

The link isn’t working. I get a “Page not found” message.

Strange. Probably the author either deleted it or has moved the date/time to a future time.I’ll update it as soon as it appears.
