It is one of the most GREATEST Indian movies I have ever seen. The sets are visually appealing, the songs leave you soothed and the story is based on the classical novel "White Nights". The theme of love has been presented very exquistely in this picture and the performences by Ranbir and Sonam are brilliant. It is like a broadway musical set set within Indian Sentiments. An extremely simple theme directed unsuccessfully by SLB to a 130-minute duration, letting the audience whimper at the atrocious laughter of Mukherjee, and dialogues that pierces into the heart of just the characters - but does not cause even a wink of the eye for the audience.
