‘Never Say, never again’
Why cant it happen. We still have the same Congress in rule at centre, which forced us for an unnecessary emergency. The power hungry descendents of the great Indira Gandhi can do anything. Never bet on it.
Did you observe, how Congress tried to impose President’s rule in Karnataka few weeks back? Anyway the BJP clowns in Karnataka deserved one blow like that.

One would like to believe that the democratic forces in the country are stronger than that, but see how easy it is for people like Modi or the Shiv Sena to control their states?
With the right factors in place (and those aren’t too hard to put together) definitely.
