Home is where Neighborhood is

I went to another colleague, a British guy who’s been here for about ten years now and asked him, “Brian, if you were to use the word “home”, would you be referring to Philadelphia or England?” He replied “What?”. It turns out he wasn’t British after all. But if he had been British, I am sure he would have replied “England”.

Gawker is shopping around for a dwelling that he can call home instead of heading back to the other place that we all desis consider ‘home’. But everything is not as perfect as it seems. I’m just glad to see Gawker writing again.
