Sagnik Nandy takes the popular baseball euphemisms for ’scoring’ and rephrases them in cricketing terms!
Even though I expect every one to know all lurid details of this modern euphemism, it is extremely biased towards baseball aware people and that is not a very large group.
Keeping this in mind I recommended that we should have a similar cricket-based naming system too. Now the first base can correspond to a single, a double can be the second base, a boundary can be third base and a six can be the much talked about home run. If you do not know what these terms mean, follow the link above for details. Not only will such a naming system help us reach out to billions of more cricket lovers, it might actually help in creating to a billion more of them.
