I think that the biggest failure of the Indian education system is that it does not respect children. It treats them as captive slaves that have to be flogged into submission. It withholds that one essential ingredient in the learning process: freedom.
While the United States is looking eastward for reforming its education system, Atanu Dey is bang on target in pointing out the failings of the Indian education system. If you know Atanu well, you’ll also know that he is doing something about it too.
