Bollywood Plagiarism

There are as many as 500+ instances of plagiarism in ItwoFS.com. And growing, every week. In the past 50+ years of Indian cinema, there are just 2 to 3 instances where royalty was paid and credit given for legitimate cover version of a song from outside India.

Kamla Bhatt talks to Karthik Srinivasan whose site itwoFS highlights the blatant incidences of plagiarism in Indian film music. And to think that these shameless buggers get paid and awarded Filmfares for copying someone else’s work sometimes without even an iota of modification [via].

True. But its not just media industry thats facing the problem. If we see number of counfeit luxury good products in the market…its huge. Where is all this leading to? :-(
