We have a new contributor at DesiPundit. JK is a California based engineer with an interest in history and archaeology and is the host of the Indian History Carnival. Besides this, he is also interested in foreign policy, Indic religions, and spirituality. He has been blogging since March 2003 at varnam. His history posts have regularly featured on DesiPundit and he regularly tips us off to great posts as well.

JK is a regular contributor and we’ll be announcing the new guest contributors on Monday. Thanks for the great response. The invites for the selected ones will go out over the weekend. So if you expressed an interest, watch your email inbox and respond immediately.

I boarded the Cluetrain with no destination in mind, and briefly landed on Desipundit.
It’s only three weeks since I discovered the world of blogs, and yours seems very promising. Wouldn’t mind hanging here for a while.
