A tale of two cities
Nikhil Menon looks at the changing faces of Chennai through the eyes of a bus commuter. The set of images in the post would bring nostalgia to all the Chennai lovers.
Much of Chennai had remained the same-bustling commercial areas of T.Nagar and Pondy Bazaar, the ever so crowded Saravana Stores,The same old Saravana Bhavan and even the imposing Chennai Central hadn’t switched shades..
And Jade tells us how much she hates Gurgaon. In her own words she bitches about the lack of public transport and the middle class.
My first week in Gurgaon, I couldn’t stop bitching about the place. It is the only city I have been to so far in my life that has no public transportation system!! Getting to Gurgaon is easy enough even if you don’t have your own car - you can either take one of the DTC buses that ply regularly between Delhi and Gurgaon, or you can take a cab.
