The UPA Communal Mindset

In a previously linked piece on DesiPundit, the Rational Fool expressed his shock to see Shivraj Patil comparing Sarabjit Singh with Mohammad Afzal. Dulam Chandrasekhar says that this just reveals the communal mindset of UPA.

It probably never occurred to the appeasing party that may be the vast majority of desi Muslims won’t care if a terrorist is hanged, as long as he had the due process of justice. May be it’s too much to expect that desi Muslims, just like any other group in the country, as the recent OBC reservation debate has revealed, would actually be offended that the appeasing party would be calculating the impacting of punishing a terrorist on its pro-Muslim agenda.

Karan wants a response from the Prime Minister

The deplorable statement by the Home Minister also warrants a response from the Prime Minister on two accounts. One, the Prime Minister must clearly state how his government intends to address the issue of Afzal Guru. By toeing the “let the law follow its own course” line, the UPA government is misleading the country. The law of the land has taken its course and it has held Afzal guilty beyond doubt. It is for the government now to prove its national security credentials by closing the issue of Afzal Guru either way.
