Displaying Popular Weekly Links

There is a slight change in the way we will be displaying popular weekly links. Instead of a separate post, we shall display the top ten clicked posts at the top of our homepage on Sunday. Thus, you will not see the list in your feeds and may have to click through to the homepage to see the list. The first edition of this change goes live in few hours [12am CST].

As mentioned before, this list is populated based on the clicks on links shared on the website over the past week. Unfortunately, clicks through the feeds are not counted. We hope you come down to the website from the feeds and vote if you like the shared link. The list is displayed in chronological order.

If you really want to give an accurate depiction of the most popular links, youneed to include the clicks from RSS feeds.

It is not too difficult. If you do it you will improve the value of your top 10 list.

Rishi, I agree but one plugin we used to do that screwed up our cron job that lists the links. If you know of something let me know.

I am not that knowledgeable about internet programming.

Glad to know that you are aware of the problem and are looking for a solution.
