Dasavatharam Review (2)

In a previously linked review Hawkeye explained why he did not like Dasavatharam. Adithya Shrikrishna disagrees and thinks the movie is a true roller coaster ride.

He has taken an array of subjects. Weapons of mass destruction, atheism, religion, chaos theory, butterfly effect, caste system to name a few. To combine all this with some great performances, set pieces, story and a message, with a commercial flavor, is an effort doable only by Kamal Haasan. People praise and shower accolades on far less worthy movies in this country. Kamal deserves much more. Applaud this effort, will you?

Dasavatharam is a milestone in Indian cinema and gives the right direction to the Indian cinema industry to step forward.

Not only kamal hassan’s best performances in this movie but also the techniques used in this film are wonderful.

1. I can remember I saw four kamal hassan in one scene and each role requires 10 hours of preparation and shooted in different days. Still you can feel like that each role is performed by different actors (thanks to Kamalji).

2. Especially the stunts scenes performed by fletcher kamal and japanese lady is really good.

3. The camera angles and visual effects used in this film are excellent. Don’t forget to watch the tsunami scene and eagle angle of chennai.

Don’t expect these masala items in this movie and you will enjoy!!!
1. item song or duet song or boring love story.
2. don’t expect super hero stunts like flying 100 feet from floor :-)
3. don’t compare this movie with high budget Hollywood movies like titanic(spent 1000 crore rs) but in this movie they spent only less than 100 crores for movie production

This movie clearly gives us chance proud about our Indian movies
