Relaxed in Varanasi
A still river. Stilled in a ‘curious’ repose. Traveling in a boat, yet frozen in the moment of the gentleman’s repose. If not for the crossed legs, he would not have to lift his head by much, but for an old man the legs turned up ease the back and relax the body. The two human dynamics (the boat and the old man) merge into the studied calm of the place, and the river, that like life floats at its own pace.
