@ Grasshopper: I agree. Do read the whole post and you'll know why.

@ Tatrikutty: The Vagina Monologues didn't just deal with sexuality but also self-awareness, pride, independence, freedom, motherhood, rape, abuse and other issues connected to the vagina. If you mean the objectification of women in popular media, I think that's a parallel thought that falls outside the scope of this discussion.

Incidently, the DesiPundit contributors do not have a say in the advertisements that appear with each post.

Thank you for commenting!

Pretty apt advertisement I must say.

I check up on the link that leads to an entry in Desi Pundit, the Vagina Dialogues. And right underneath the discussion about women's sexuality is an ad... a bikini clad woman invites you to get naughty on the beach. PLAY THE PAPPU PICHKARI GAME, SQUIRT NOW.

I think it presents an important perspective on dialogues on women and sexuality.

What say, ye DesiPundits?

Being a woman, being a person, has much more to do with how one feels, thinks about oneself. During teenage specially, the force of sexuality is so strong, it can bounce off comments so easily. For me, being a woman was never any problem, if there was a problem, it was mind-created.
I believe that everyone would like freedom: men, women, children, animals, plants, planets....Stars don't need anything , they are too hot.
