Friday Photo of the Week #13
An invisible hand seemingly makes moves on the chessboard, bringing the ruminating to centre stage, while relegating to a corner the contemplative, letting her thoughts take flight in the form of a pigeon while the water momentarily stills her thoughts. If she didn’t have a lot on her mind, she might have faced the world, but in the ripples the breeze stirs on the surface maybe she recognizes her own reasons to contemplate the whirlpools underneath.

A surreal moment in motion. The debris strewn around reels time back to when inhabitants must’ve brought splendour to life in the courtyard. Witness to life regenerating the courtyard, and possibly the environs, the lady walking in makes the stripped surface whole again, in a fractured moment of passing reality.
Where understanding walks shoulder to shoulder, there’s not a word uttered, not a step missed, nor a backward glance. For such is life that you can be different only upto a point, beyond that each lives in the other as much as for the other, and together they derive their identities not in their differences but from the bond that ties them together.
