The new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, is breaking all kinds of box-office records. It made $67.85 million when it opened on friday and an estimated $158.4 million over the weekend. Falstaff contends that this is not the new Batman film as much as the new Joker film, and I have to agree. Heath ledger has done a superb job – he is absolutely unrecognizable as the joker… it’s hard to believe this is the same guy who played the taciturn Ennis Del MAr in Brokeback Mountain!
