The Great Brahminical Conspiracy

This brahminical dominance is the result of a well crafted strategy aimed at perpetuating the hegemony of a numerically insignificant community over a country of a billion “others”. When I elaborate on this strategy completely in subsequent parts, some of you might be tempted to dismiss it as a crackpot conspiracy theory. Some might even draw parallels to the idea of Knights Templar/Freemasons secretly ruling the world. But the evidence for the Great Brahminical Conspiracy is overwhelming. And this evidence is archival, historic as well as circumstantial in nature.

Pyotr Periyar Pandey looks at so-called Left, so-called Right and so-called Centrist parties and finds that Brahmins reign supreme. Since the Pandey family stands for meticulous research, there is no reason to suspect their conspiracy theories.

Thanks for the link. However, I take strong exception to the post being categorized as “humor”. There is nothing humorous about the dastardly brahminical conspiracy that I am opening the eyes of the world to. I humbly request a more suitable and sombre tag.

Pyotr,

We are all grateful for this selfless service and will try to invent a category name which is suitable for a person of your stature.

Thank you so much for categorizing this as humour. For a second I thought the post was serious.

But then with 22 children, one must develop a sense of humour perhaps. But what annoys me is that nobody ever told me that I was entitled to a share of this conspiracy. What use are my Brahmin genes I say?

JK,

Thank you. I look forward to the new category.

Neha,

The post is indeed serious. Why would you assume otherwise? I have already communicated to JK my displeasure at this erroneous categorization. Having said that, being one of 22 siblings does do wonders for one’s sense of humor. Did you find the life of the kids in Cheaper By the Dozen amusing? Just multiply it by 1.833 and you will get the idea.

Neha,

This dismissing, patronizing and condescending comment of yours which implies my indulgence in some sort of prohibited and possibly damaging hallucinogen, and indicates your desire to share in this said hallucinogen, is disappointing to say the least, and moreover, is pungently symptomatic of the cynicism and arrogance-inducing attitude that the brahminical conspiracy has subliminally engendered and quite actively propagated.

Haha. How come you forgot that there’s a conspiracy in the Indian cricket team as well.

Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble, Ishant Sharma are all brahmins. The brahmin conspiracy is so widespread that all the above managed to bribe the opposition players into letting them score runs and take wickets so that as brahmins they could be considered great with their records. :)

Even Sunil Gavaskar, another brahmin was a part of the conspiracy. Even Javagal Srinath. He was a brahmin too :) Heck even Gundappa Vishwanath was a brahmin, wasn’t he. Well, even the great spinners EAS Prasanna, Chandrashekar, Venkatraghavan. All a part of the conspiracy to get themselves to the top.

None of these were talented, were they? :)

The original Periyar was rabidly anti-brahmin, wasn’t he?

Ridiculous theory indeed. But for a blog of this stature, you could’ve handled it more delicately. Especially considering the sensitivity about the role that caste played through a major chunk of Indian history.

KD, the tag for this post reads HUMOUR. Take a chill pill and relax. Read and enjoy how Pyotor works his magic with words.
