After a short hiatus, Marathi is back on DesiPundit. Ojas has left DesiPundit for personal reasons and Yogesh Dhimate joins us as a full-time Marathi contributor. He has already linked a few posts since Monday. We hope our Marathi readers excuse this brief interruption.
We are glad to welcome Ashutosh Jogalekar as a contributing blogger on DesiPundit. We have loved linking his science posts on DesiPundit and are happy to host his blog on DesiPundit. As with Baradwaj, Ashutosh’s new blog From so simple a beginning… is independent of DesiPundit’s regular programming and is for all practical purposes, his space.
Ashutosh will be writing on science-related issues on this blog and his latest post, It’s not about science discusses the ongoing debate on evolutionary matter is as insightful and comprehensive, as any of his other writings on science. You can subscribe to his blog feed or keep visiting his blog for regular updates. We hope you enjoy his writings as much as we do.
Due to some strange reason, DesiPundit tip-offs have been finding their way to our spam folder. This may have caused some tips to have been overlooked. We apologize and are looking through our spam filter regularly to un-spam any tips. We are also looking into why such a thing happened and promise to fix it as soon as possible. Nevertheless, fret not; your tips will be continued to be rescued from the spam folder until then.
In response to our reader survey, we are now removing the Indic posts from our main feed. We understand that this was sending plenty of content that most of our readers didn’t want in their feed since they didn’t understand the language.
However, you can always subscribe to individual Indic feeds. The feed URL for any Indic category is as follows: http://desipundit.com/category/<insert Indic language>/feed. Our motivation behind including them in the first place was to promote Indic blogs but we understand that we can’t force them onto our average reader. This change will let you customize your DesiPundit feeds a little better.
PS. Due to some technical issues, the Indic posts have been re-inserted into the feeds. We’re trying to figure out another way to exclude them without shutting off Indic feeds completely.
Update: Thanks to Abhijit Nadgouda, the problem is now fixed. The main DesiPundit feed does not include the Indic posts. The Indic posts can be accessed by selecting the appropriate feeds as described above.
The DesiPundit Reader Survey Results have been compiled. To avoid hogging up space here, the results have been presented in detail on my blog.
